Directory of Shelters, Rescue/Adoption Groups, and Veterinarians in the Southeastern United States

It is our goal for Maddie’s^® Shelter Medicine Program at the University of Florida to serve as a valuable resource for the southeastern United States and beyond. To be effective, we must be able to contact regional shelters, rescue/adoption groups, and the veterinarians who work with them with news updates and opportunities to participate in clinical research studies, training courses, diagnostic services, and shelter evaluations.

Currently, there are no complete directories to reach these audiences. Therefore, an early task of the Shelter Medicine Program is to compile an up-to-date list of sheltering facilities, rescue/adoption foster networks, and veterinarians.
