Every dollar shared with the Shelter Medicine Program goes towards training new shelter medicine specialists, engaging veterinary students to become tomorrow’s humane leaders, discovering new knowledge to solve old problems, and visiting shelters to help them reach their goals. In addition, contributions make it possible to provide life-saving care for sheltered animals who could not otherwise be saved.
A gift made to the Shelter Medicine Program is received by the UF Foundation Records Department for immediate deposit. UFF will send you a receipt/gift acknowledgement as soon as your gift has been received. Save these receipts for your tax records, as all donations are tax-deductible.
